About the Trainer

Antoinette Gyan (APR) is an Accredited Public Relations professional, Communications Strategist, and Leadership Coach with more than a decade of experience.
She has worked with globally respected institutions including the United Nations, UNICEF, Plan International, and other development and corporate organizations across Africa, leading internal communication reforms, strategy development, and staff engagement initiatives that have improved culture and performance.

At UNICEF Ghana, Antoinette pioneered adolescent and youth engagement programs that positioned the organization as a youth-forward brand — driving visibility, partnerships, and measurable community impact. At Plan International, she led internal and external communication strategies in Ghana and Sierra Leone during major transitions, helping to unify teams, clarify leadership messaging, and strengthen brand credibility.

As a Consultant she partners with organizations to improve internal communication systems and drive leadership and career development. She has coached and trained professionals across Ghana, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt and USA — many of whom serve in the UN, development, and corporate sectors. Her focus is helping professionals elevate with clarity, purpose, and alignment, combining mindset development with practical leadership tools.

An author and youth advocate, she has written two transformative books — Odd Numbers: Building a Meaningful Career and When Life Comes Full Circle — both centered on purposeful living and leadership. Through her youth initiative, the YSA Global, she continues to mentor emerging leaders to build careers and communities that drive impact across Africa.
